Colophon

The REPUBLIC (Resolutions Published in a Computational Environment) project was carried out between 2019 and 2024 at the Huygens Institute for Dutch History and Culture. It received a grant from the Dutch Research Council within the NWO-Groot Programma (round 2017-2018, file number 175.2017.024).

The Huygens Institute is part of the Humanities Cluster of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences. Within the Huygens Institute, the research group Political Culture and History and the Data Management department were involved in the project. Also involved were the research group DHLab and the Digital Infrastructure department, which fall directly under the Humanities Cluster.

The REPUBLIC project was a collaboration between the Huygens Institute and the National Archives. In addition, the project had various university partners: Utrecht University, Leiden University, University of Amsterdam and the Vrije Universiteit. Other partners were Transkribus and VeleHanden.
